Salaam Bombay Indian restaurant in downtown Manhattan has won the coveted A Grade from New York City Department of Health following a recent inspection (12/22/2010).

Located at 319 Greenwich Street, Salaam Bombay offers fine Indian food but suffers from serious service issues as per our dining experience at the restaurant.

Sanitary Violations
1) Food contact surface not properly maintained.
2) Non-food contact surface improperly constructed. Unacceptable material used. Non-food contact surface or equipment improperly maintained and/or not properly sealed, raised, spaced or movable to allow accessibility for cleaning on all sides, above and underneath the unit.
